The Venetian Convention and Expo Center buzzed with excitement as Day 1 officially launched at VMware Explore 2025. Attendees dove right into a packed schedule of 140 sessions across four dynamic tracks, from cloud infrastructure and private AI to modern applications, networking, security, and load balancing.
A Centralized Hub for Learning, Networking & Relaxation
This year’s edition featured a newly expanded The Hub, a centralized area combining exhibitors, session spaces, and lounge zones. It housed everything from hands-on labs and the Expert Bar to sponsor booths, the Broadcast Booth (theCUBE), the Discovery Theater, Broadcom Rewards, and even the pop-up Bark Park for furry stress relief. The Communities Lounge served as a gathering place for vExperts, VMTN contributors, and others to make meaningful connections
Partner Power & Networking Lounge
Day 1 also emphasized collaboration. The Solution Provider and Distributor Partner Keynote, titled “Powering Growth in a VMware Cloud Smart World”, set the tone for partner engagement. Meanwhile, the Partner Lounge (Level 2, Bellini 2102) provided a space for more intimate networking and drop-in sessions VMware Blogs.
Evening Events: Welcome, Swag, and Hacking
Welcome Reception: The evening kicked off strong at 5:00 PM in The Hub (Hall C), hosted by diamond sponsors—Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Intel, and Microsoft. Attendees mingled over appetizers, drinks, and unforgettable moments with towering LED Robot Stilt Walkers. Full Event Pass holders picked up their official backpack and visited the VMware by Broadcom booth for T-shirts and goodies VMware Blogs.
Hackathon: Right after, the VMware {code} Hackathon ran from 7:00–11:45 PM in Ballroom C. A spirited, after-hours coding event welcoming both veterans and drop-ins—perfect for learning, competition, and community bonding VMware Blogs.
Looking Ahead to Day 2
Day 2 opens with a high-stakes General Session at 9:00 AM (Hall A), featuring insights on private cloud, AI, and accelerating application delivery—all from Broadcom and VMware leaders, plus customer stories. The session will be livestreamed with replay available in the video library
